It's May! It's May!

It's May! and it has been for almost 14 days now. But today FEELS like May. It's a warm sunny day, the garden right outside our front door is all shiny from the dew in the early morning. I got up at 4:30 AM this morning to help our friend Jesus repair a small hole in the eaves of our roof where we think some bats have been sojourning. This way we closed up the hole before they could come back to roost for the day. At least that's the theory, but I'm pretty sure they weren't inside. I have been meaning to get some "Bat Boxes" to put up in a couple of redwood trees that border our property, this way they're far enough so as not to expose us to any possible rabies (rabies from bats has been reported in our area), and close enough to provide some very nice insect pest protection. Everybody wins: The bats get dinner and we aren't "bugged". It's all good!
